Customer display ideal screen show black strap on video

Problem Statement

Video on the customer display shows black strap(Black border) on up and down side of video.

 


Environment

iVend 6.6

Symptoms

An additional black shadow appears around the video playback. Sometimes it may appear at the top and bottom while other times it may be on sideways

 

Resolution/Workaround

The most possible cause of the behavior is the screen resolution. If the screen used in the customer display has a resolution different than the resolution of the video ( to be used in the display ).
Suggested customer to use the resolution of the screen accordingly to avoid the issue
