Crystal Report supported Information in iVend 6.6

Environment:

 iVend 6.6 integrated with SAPB1

Problem statement :

Is crystal reports supported in iVend 6.6.

Symptoms: 

The type intializer for 'Crystalldecisions.crystalreports.engine.reportdocument' threw an exception occurred during import of crystal report(rpt) through iVend Management Console.

 

Resolution/Work Around: 


iVend 6.6 is compatible with customized crystal report however for view this customized crystal report in MC.there will be need to install Crystal Report Run time 32 bit or 64 bit on machine(Depending on machine Bit Configuration).
iVend 6.6. Crystal runtime installer will not be provided along with iVend application installer, customer can install from below link depending on Machine Bit Configuration.

Install Crystal runtime 13.0 as per the Windows installer from the below path:

For 64 bit operating system

For 32 bit operation system

Also suggest to use any version below than 13.0 of Crystal report designer to update the report and receipt.

As 6.6 contains many enhanced functionality & database schema so previously customized report in older version may or may not work in 6.6 MC and if it doesn't work,it will require to rebuilt again with Crystal Report below than 13.0 of Crystal report designer ( along with 6.6 database) or with iVend MC Report Designer( .irt) however it is recommended customized report with the help of report designer functionality.
