The customer has decided to create a new SAP database. They will go through some data cleansing but all in all it will be a new SAP database. Then the question is do they need to run the Retail Initialization in SAP and create a new HO database?
Answer:
If Customer is changing data in SAPB1 database as creation of new SAPB1 database, they will require to initialize iVend again with new SAPB1 database as CXSIntegration database will contains the SAPB1-iVend Objects mapping and used to integrate the documents between iVend and SAPB1. If anything gets disturbed in SAPB1 and CXSIntegration, Integration may not work.
So with this situation, our suggestion will be to re-initialize iVend completely with the newly created SAPB1 database to avoid any future issues such as integration failures .
