Create Validation to prevent to save the customer's phone number with space.

Environment :

iVend 6.6 

Problem Statement :

Customer phone number is saved with the space, so restrict to save the space.

Recommendations /Suggestion : 

Idea
Create the validation on  Mobile number to restrict to save the number with the space, so it will not allow to save number wiht Space.

Resolution/Work Around :

We  recommend to follow the below steps to create the validation on mobile number to restrict adding extra space in mobile number.

  1. Open the New Customer screen in the Management Console.

(Management Console >Operations>BusinessPartner>Customer>Click on New Button)


  1. Right-click on the mobile number field and select the “Set Pattern for the Field Value”.


  1.  New Window will open, fill in the pattern “^\d+$” click on Ok Button.


  1. It will ask to restart so click on ok and restart the Management Console.
