In the new installation of iVend, Configured OPOS drivers now are compatible with Windows as the OPOS drivers can communicate with the printer and print data sent to it, but iVend POS cannot use the printer for some reason.
Proposed Solution/Workaround:
Below are the general steps to configure the OPOS printer.
A) Go to iVend MC Store Machine > Retail Configuration
Check the Hardware registration and its mapping with hardware profile & POS on Store MC.
Go to Hardware registration
Go to Hardware profile
Go to POS
B) Go to iVend POS machine
Install the OPOS driver
Run the OPOS CCO executable file from path Program Files (x86)\CitiXsys\iVend Retail\Common
Check the window registry for hardware OPOS Driver.
(It may be in HKEY_CURRENT_USER--->SOFTWARE-->OLERETAILHKEY_CURRENT_USER--->SOFTWARE-->WOW6432NODE-->OLERETAIL)
Close all iVend applications on the POS machine.
Do the health check of OPOS printer through OPOS Utility
Close all iVend applications on the POS machine.
