Follow the below-detailed steps of configuring iVend handheld on an Android device.

Step 1. Download and install the iVend handheld from Android Play Store.

Step 2. Once the application is installed tap on Open button to open the iVend handheld application.

Step 3. The configuration screen of iVend handheld opens.

IP Address: -          Enter IP Address of the machine where iVend Enterprise is installed.

Service Name: -     iVendAPI

API User id: -          User id of the API user (Open Management Console >>

                                  Administration>>Authorization>>Security User)                       

API User Password: - Enter the corresponding password to login the application

 Printable: - Select from option Yes/ No/ Prompt.

Step 4. Save the settings by tapping on the save icon on top of the screen.

Follow Steps ( 5-7) if you wish to use Socket Scanner along with your HandHeld Device

Step 5. Tap on the General Setting to configure the Socket Scanner settings.

Step 6. On the General Setting screen slide the slider towards right to enable Socket Mobile Scanner.

Step 7. The Bluetooth paired handheld will get listed on the screen. Select the Socket scanner device to pair the scanner.

Step 8. Slide the slider towards right to enable" Auto Add Item on Scanning". By enabling this option, on scanning the barcode, the item with default 1 quantity gets added to the list.

Step 9. Save the settings by tapping on the save icon on top of the screen.

Step 10. Log in to the iVend handheld login screen to perform the transactions.

Step 11. Select the Warehouse for which the transactions are to be performed. The warehouse listed in iVend will get displayed, select the warehouse and tap on the OK button to proceed.

With this iVend Handheld Setup completes and you can use iVend Handheld for Stock taking operation.
