Configuration Package feature to clear the inventory of all the stores and Enterprise

Query:

Customer wants to clear the inventory of all the stores and Enterprise so that it can be restored from UAT to the production environment.

Resolution:

Import the Configuration package onto a new instance (like production) from the UAT (existing) environment.
Configuration Package feature enables the user to generate a settings package that can then be imported into another iVend instance. This feature provides functionality to the user to carry the settings from UAT to the production system.

Step 1) Please open MC >> Administration >> System Intialization >> Export Configuration Package >> Select as per your requirement >> Export Settings.
Step 2) Now these setting can be imported in new iVend Instance (production) >> please open MC >> Administration >> Enterprise >> Import Settings 
In addition to the above, [Convert to Production]: Using this button to convert the same instance from UAT to Production.

Clicking on this button will delete all the transactional data in the system. Only master data would be retained in the system so that it can be used for doing the transactions. This would also generate an event so that the store's transactional data is also cleared.
