CombineMultipleSuspendTrans

Introduction

iVend POS allows the cashier to recall multiple suspended transactions and then convert them into a single transaction at the POS.
This feature is very helpful in case the store is setup in a way where the customer can shop at different floors whereas payment and delivery is controlled centrally from a specific point of sale.
To use this feature:
1. Log into the iVend Management Console and then go to Retail Configuration > Retail Profile.
2. Select the appropriate Retail Profile and click on the [F4 Edit] button and then enable the setting Allow recalling multiple suspended transactions and then click on the [Ok] button to save the changes made.
3. Log into the iVend POS. Search and add a product or products to a transaction.
4. Press the [F10 Suspend/Recall] button to suspend the transaction.
5. System will prompt the cashier, asking if they want to suspend the current transaction. Click [Yes]. The current transaction will be suspended
6. Next, add a product or products to a new open transaction. Once again, press the [F10 Suspend/Recall] button to suspend the transaction.
7. Now there are both transactions in the suspended mode.
8. Click the [F10 Suspend/Recall] button to recall the transaction.
9. Select one transaction from the suspended list and click [Ok], the transaction will be added to point of sale transaction screen.
10. Now to combine additional suspended transactions with the open one, again press the [F10 Suspend/Recall] button.
11. The system will prompt the cashier if they want to combine another suspended transaction to current transaction. Click [Yes]. If the cashier wishes to suspend the transaction again, they can click [No] to proceed to the next prompt that gives them the option to suspend the open transaction.
12. Th cashier will able to see the list of all the suspended transactions. Select the one desired and click [OK] to combine the products from the selected suspended transaction to the open transaction previously added to POS transaction screen.
13. The cashier will be able to see the products added to current transaction that were picked from the multiple suspended transactions
