Issue:
Cash drawer is not opening while clicking on button “Open Cash Drawer” at POS terminal.
Possible cause:
1-Device name in “OPOS cash drawer Configuration” under Hardware registration is not correct.
2-Cash drawer is not mapped in the hardware profile of concern POS.
3-Device is not OPOS complaint.
Resolution:
1- Correct the device name in “OPOS cash drawer Configuration” under Hardware registration.
2-Mapp the cash drawer in the hardware profile of the concern POS.
3-Perform health check of the cash drawer and if successful check the available hardware Details in POS terminal as shown below:
