Cannot process credit cards after upgrading to iVend 6.6

Problem Statement:

Transaction could not b completed using credit card

Symptom:
Getting an error "Error payment processor: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not found.. Please swipe the card again or try another card" while making payment using a credit card.


Solution:

  • The mentioned error appears when Datacap PDCX Listener was not installed in the POS system.

  • Please find the attached document for installing and configuring PDCX Listener.

  • If Datacap was working in the same system with an earlier version of iVend, after configuring PDCX Listener should solve the issue.

  • All customers who are using Datacap with iVend 6.6, are required to install PDCX Listener.

  • In case the issue isn't resolved then please raise a ticket with us.
