Problem statement :
Bar Code Mask not interpreted.
Brief : User created a bar code mask for scale items, put the factor for quantity as 1000, during the sale the system is not seeing qty that is less than 1. e.g 0.001Kg, rather it is interpreting all quantities as a single unit e.g. 1. When user scanned this code at the POS 2001598032488, it interpreted the qty as 1 and not 3.248kg that is in the barcode label for the scale item
Proposed solution/workaround :
1. We have validated the product details at Store and barcode customer have configured. It was fine
2. On further investigation, we scanned the item and that was not taking fractional quantity.
3. We have validated few products and found allow fractional quantity checkmark was not present.
So, after marking the "allow fractional quantity" on these items - 09001 and 09002, and post scanning barcode 2009001032488 it is working fine - and taking quantity as 3.2.
Steps if any :
First created the same scenario locally with same barcode configuration : 2009001032488 and then checked at customer end.
