Fulfillment plans defined in the Management Console, can be attached to a Sale, a Special Order and a Layaway transaction at the POS. Now with the introduction of iVend Retail version 6.5, this process is now automated. What this means is that the user no longer needs to select it manually, instead iVend Retail automatically assigns a Fulfillment Plan to a Sale transaction, Special Order transaction, Layaway with delivery fulfillment transaction – we call it as “Automatic Fulfillment”.
You can also choose to create your own Fulfillment Plan via the Management Console. Log into the iVend Management Console and navigate to: Operations > Inventory > Fulfillment Plan.

Note: New fields are added to the Product master at Management Console with names “Fulfillment Plan for Sale”, “Fulfillment Plan for SO” and “Fulfillment Plan for Layaway". When the user at POS select a transaction type, the fulfillment type automatically attaches to the transaction type. Fulfillment plan is updated to be applied to Product and Product Group and Store. If the fulfillment plan is applied on all and all have different fulfillment plan then the Order of Fulfillment plan will be 1. Product, 2. Product Group, 3. Store.
The following are the configurations to enable Automatic Fulfillment Plan selection.
On the Management Console go to Operations > Inventory > Product. Select the option from the following for which Fulfillment plan is required to be set to Automatic:
